Fiverr – a marketplace where people all manner of services for $5. There are some really interesting offers for business and pretty entertaining read.
OnePage – interactive one page business cards for the web. You can create a page that lists all of the ways to contact you and then embed the card in multiple pages.
Anatomy of a WordPress theme – from Yoast, this infographic should be required reading for anyone that uses or teaches people how to use WordPress.
Jetpack – Collection of WordPress plugins from WordPress packaged as a set of features that cover most of the basic plugin needs. This was a WordPress.com feature now available for self hosted WordPress.org sites.
Hellofax – there are plenty of online fax services, but I love this one because it allows me to insert my signature on documents and email them back to the sender.
letter.ly – Dead simple way to create a paid online newsletter
The Small Business Web – a network of software providers creating product aimed at small business – very nice resource for finding some new tools
Index Tank – Hosted real time search that offers robust search functionality for your WordPress blog
Notifo – Real time notifications from many services pushed to your mobile phone. Allows you to set up some customer alerts like new blog comments or Twitter mentions.
Adict-o-matic – Instantly create a custom page with the latest buzz on any topic.
WePay – helps groups collect, spend, and manage money – great tool for small networks
Guide to WordPress – 101 Techniques for a Powerful CMS using WordPress – a great 3 part series of tips.
Twitpols – Interesting little service that makes it very easy to pose a quick poll on Twitter.
Webengage – Customer feedback, mini survey and lead generation too that allows you to engage website visitors.
Convert Experiments – tool that allows you to run A/B tests on offers and calls to action. Plays very nice with Google Analytics.
Zerys Content Marketplace– A marketplace where you can find writers that will create website copy, blog posts, press releases and more.
Best Content Curation Tools – Big list of the best tools to Aggregate, Filter, Edit, Curate and Distribute Any Type of Content – updated weekly by Robin Good.
Google Consumer Surveys – Get statistically valid research from survey tool implemented through Google
Scripted – A marketplace for writers where you can get blog posts, articles and press releases written on an ongoing monthly basis.
Ziptask – very interesting new outsourcing model – you submit a project, get an estimate, get the work done, approve it and move on. It’s all anonymous and managed for you.
Seek or Shout – the new online community for media and PR professionals
Submit My Press Release – Online press release submission tool that does a great job integrating social media.
SizeUp – Interesting startup that aims to provide research and data on large list of industries by city. Could be a nice way for small organizations to get some big data.
MailPow – This service allows you to create cards with sound. Kind of like the musical birthday idea but you get to do it for your business. They also have an option that allows you to record a message on a card by card basis to make each one a personal message.
PressIt – Social media news release tool. Nice free way to distribute press releases that get picked up on social sites.
The Email Game – Somewhat goofy little email management tool that helps put the emphasis on better email productivity and getting to an empty inbox in the shortest amount of time. (Blame @chrisbrogan for this one)
Twitcleaner – free Twitter tool that allows you to analyze your Twitter following for spammers, bots, and other producing little or no value and then unfollow them.
Qwerly – tool that lets you mine the social data of your leads and customers and add this data to make your email and marketing materials more personal
Postagram – this iPhone and Android app lets you instantly create and send high quality postcards based on your Instagram or Facebook photos. Imagine visiting a client and then sending a thank you card with an image from their office.
What’s New with Google+ – Official Google blog featuring updates, release notes and announcements for the increasingly popular Google+ platform
Statigram – Powerful set of Instagram management tools
Shortstack – Use ShortStack to create Facebook sweepstakes and promotions, feature sharable virtual gifts, and run voting competitions
Google Maps for iPhone – With the failure of Apple’s mapping initiative, Google Maps becomes one of the most popular iPhone Apps.
iCharts – Nice tool for creating and sharing data driven stories and graphics.
Dashboard Junkie – Free Google Analytics dashboards that make it easier to display the most meaningful data.
PinGraphy – Pinterest Management tool for brand that allows you to schedule pins.
Fotor – Simple, yet very useful online photo editing tool. Sometimes you just want a lightweight editor for a quick enhancement.
Repinly – Repinly helps you find the most popular pins, boards, and pinners on Pinterest.
Actionable Books – service that creates free book summaries and workshops based on best selling books.
Soovie – Very interesting keyword search tool that uses the related search function from all the major search engines and allows you to create keyword lists.
Fileboard – Live web-based presentation tool that makes it very easy to make pitches using archived sales documents.
Boostsuite – Tool that takes data from your website and turns it into a list of SEO to-dos.
LoyalBlocks – an automated loyalty program that checks members in when they enter you business and makes it easy to operate punch card type programs.
Google Discussions – discussions is just a refinement of Google search, but it turns up what people are saying about a term. Do a regular Google search and on the left, probably under more, you’ll find a link for discussions.
Scribe – the new version of Scribe is quite likely the only Content Marketing and SEO tool bloggers will ever need.
Clarify-It – Very nice little innovation that allows you to capture, sequence and annotate screenshots to create documents that are a great alternative to screen recordings.
Boun.cr – Interesting startup that offers email shortening, kind of like bit.ly for email, but also allows you to share your short address publicly without the worry of spam.
PDFtoHTML – this converter allows you to convert any PDF document into an HTML page.
XapNews – PR pitch service that looks like a nice alternative to wire services. Targeted pitches by name and region.
KanbanFlow – Lean project, time and to-do management tool that uses the Pomodoro Technique.
MaxA/B – WordPress plugin that allows you to run A/B split tests inside of WordPress – Test those page
Color Blender – Input two colors and this tool will show you all the mid-point colors created by blending the two – very useful for finding complimentary colors

Premise – a tool from copyblogger that allows you to easily create and optimize a number of landing pages in any WordPress theme.
Nurph – Twitter add on that allows you to create a chat room on the fly and bring real time live chat to any conversation. Conversations are still public, just gives you space to go longer.
Triberr – Interesting looking tool that allows you to create private networks or what they call tribes and create a group that amplifies each other’s content and social media activity.
Answerbase – With Answerbase you can easily create a Question and Answer community right on your own web site. For the right niche can be a great way to build content and attract search traffic.
Formstack – Great tool for creating custom web forms, landing pages and surveys. Lots of power and very easy to use.
Signal – This web based tool combines your mobile, social and email marketing efforts into one platform
SpotOn – Consumer loyalty program lets you find discounts and merchants create loyalty programs that run on mobile devices and tablets.
Smore – Tool lets you instantly design online flyer pages that work great for landing pages or mobile pages.
Click to Tweet – Very easy way to build Twitter function into any page. Simply write a proposed tweet and embed Click to Tweet url. Try it – Click to Tweet this!
Scoop.it – Fully redesigned content curation tool that allows you to create and manage topic pages. Robin Good does this well.
Unclutter – This handy Mac app is awesome for those that do a lot of cutting and pasting and need a clipboard manager with lots of functionality.
PowToon – A very powerful do it yourself animated presentation tool.
Catchfree – This site is billed as a community that finds and compares apps in a variety of categories that are all free. I found some great new ones here.
Topo.ly – Free tool that allows you quickly make custom Google Maps using your spreadsheet data – great way to plot out a map of customers and prospects.
Roost – Nice tool for businesses wanting to easily create social media campaigns across Facebook and Twitter. Includes suggested content, braining with Facebook toolbar and ability to create circles to amplify each other’s content.
iRig Mic – the camera on the iPhone just keeps getting better to the point where I needed to get a good external mic to use it as an on the fly recorder. This is the first one I found that does the trick.
Curebit – Nice little platform that helps you create campaigns that get your customers to refer your business in social networks.
Find Your Archetype – this little tool from Brand House Agency uses the teaching of Carl Jung to allow you to drill down and discover the personality of your brand – are you a rebel or a hero?
Lettrs – Digital letter writing, sending and archiving. Interesting project that might have some nice uses for building unique communications channels.
Branding 101 – Discover your brand archetype quiz – 8-10 minute quiz can help you gain insights into your brand’s persona.
Grovo – Nice collection of online training videos and courses designed to help you learn how to use cloud based software.
Socialyzer – One click social media optimization – algorithm schedules best time to post.
vCita – nice web site engagement suite that includes ability to offer visitors ability to schedule appointments in real time.
tiggzr – cloud based mobile and web app builder.
Agendize – Suite of online conversion tools that allows you to add click to call, chat, schedule appointment, live reviews and more.
Get Smart Content – application allows you to set rules such as – visited our website four times or from California and show different content based on visitors.
InboxQ – ask this service a question and it will quickly show you the best people on Twitter to answer it. You can also show off your knowledge by answering questions.
Picwing – Very nice app that makes it easy to send a printed photo from your smart phone. Could be interesting way to share those photos you take at your next conference.
Podio – Different breed of CRM, social interaction, project management and collaboration suite that is ultimately flexible.
Guide to online marketing – Comprehensive infographic from Unbounce lists every possible tactic for online marketing in a very simple and practical path. Intentionally on the beginner side but nice checklist.

Kurrently – Interesting new search engine that gives real time results for Twitter and Facebook. First search tool I’ve come across that does a good job with Facebook results.
Facebook Button – lots of free Facebook icons to use to attract followers.
Keyword Questions – Keyword research tool based on questions people ask. Optimizing web pages around questions is a powerful approach. This tool shows you questions people are asking based on keywords like diet, marketing or plumbing.
Brickify – this one goes in the fun category – this tool turns any image into a scheme for Lego bricks – it even gives you the schematic and inventory you would need to purchase – try your logo – might make a nice addition to the office.
OnlyWire – highly flexible tool that allows you to automatically submit content to multiple social media sites
CloudFlood – Tool that makes it very easy to create a campaign to give away a free report or tool for a tweet or Facebook Like
Mailing List Finder – Search over 60,000 mailing lists based on your criteria to come up with just the right list.
ccMixter – a Creative Commons music tool – Find exactly the music you’re looking for to use in videos, podcasts and more using dig.ccMixter Music Discovery tool.
Montage – Montage is a flexible web-based service that makes it fun and easy to create and share a visual album of the web on the topics you care about

CSS Inliner Tool - If you send HTML email that you create on your own you may find that styling that’s not inline gets stripped out, leaving some funky looking email. Use this tool from MailChimp to get your style converted to inline code and your email will render much better in GMail and other clients.

Facebook Fan Page Engine – tool to create completely custom Facebook Fan Pages. Fairly low cost and driven by simple, but appealing templates.
Thinglink – tool that allows you to add interactive features to your online images.
Springpad – very interesting free note taking and creating tool that organizes things the ways you live
Learnable – with Learnable you can find lots of courses to take and you can create your own course using the Learnable tools. Learnable then markets your course and shares the proceeds.
